Light & Dust Anthology of Poetry

Karl Young, Curator

This site includes a federation of genre, subject, and author home page, as well as smaller surveys and individual poems. It should give a rough sketch of some of the possibilities of late 20th - early 21st Century poetry from a number of different points of view and means of presentation. This is an anthology rather than a zine, and an anthology dedicated to alternative means of presentation as well as pluralistic forms and subjects. It includes over 60 complete books, new and reprinted, indicated in the alphabetic section by a set of brackets, [].

Most entries at this site are housed at Thing.net. A few have been stored at Concentric.net. Due to technical problems, entries stored at Concentric are temporarily unavailable. They will be restored presently.

SURVEYS:

Surveys are smaller than home pages, but go into the depth and variety of the work of each contributor. They thus form an intermediate stage between signle entries and home pages - and give us another means among the many possibilities we explore of presenting the work of contemporary poets. The first surveys were specifically meant to be of the work of visual poets. More rescent additions have included more work by people working in other genres.
