When do our eyes s l i p the rest of us across the frontiers of the self into the regions of v o y e u r i s m,
e s p i o n a g e,  o b s e r v a t i o n? To what extent has  s u r v e i l l a n c e  infiltrated our definitions
of control? individual electric explore information as the  p o e t r y  of power.

Overlooking the hidden camera, the street becomes a laboratory of  i n v i s i b l e  strategies, for a
presentation of public  s e c r e t s, for a vocabulary of actions, a vista onto tangible l i f e via the
transparent c r a c k s of surveillance. Ordinary gestures share a peripheral stage with victimless crimes:
the curtain rises on electric urbanism as social feedback.

i.e. extends its research into the w a y s of s e e i n g through the modernist vision machine: crime-lights,
dimedroppers and surveillance cameras intensify the secret police presence justified by the promise of
security: i.e. i n v e s t i g a t e the i n v e s t i g a t i o n.

Acting as crime scene technicians trained to pick up c l u e s, i.e. achive: Documents of e v i d e n c e: facts,
fabricated and diversionary - r e v o l t in the service of poetry. Are there ways of watching out when we
are being watched? Is this thin thread the l a b y r i n t h around life and mortality; structured to watch in
t i m e   sinking, floating, fleeting?
