As I sit here on this institutionalised connection. I ponder. Perhaps
there are as many questions as there are answers. I have just experienced
the institutionalised difficulty in trying to open up the demographics
with a cyber presentation. Of course it was futile. To sit in a corner
and tap away is one thing. The request for a live or not so live linkup
via a see-u-seeme camera was beyond the comprehension of the tech-heads
needed to forfill my request. Installing the necessary software on the
correct server, for just on person, could not be done. What about a
localised display alone? Not possible, imposible, why do you want to do
it anyhow? There was not enough equiptment, not enough interest, not enough
time. This is not the correct place (institution) to try anything new or
different. Just read your paper and maintain the necessary boundaries.
Run away little girl.
