It wouldn't have anything to do with credibility of course,
nor would it have anything to do with audience appeal.
It certainly couldn't have anything to do with institutions
having any hesitation about taking risks. It definitely
has nothing to do with academic liasons. It must just be a
simple oversight.

who you could skillfully convince (coerce?) to sponsor a conference
about some other worlds.

Joukee raised some very interesting questions about the
demographics of this forum which dovetails a bit with instiutionalization.
If any answers exist, It would be interesting to hear them.
