Leonardo/ISAST has been invited to give a talk to the Art and Business
council of Chicago during the ISEA conference in September. The presentation
will include arguments/examples to help convince companies to hire artists.
If you are an artist who has been hired by a company or has worked in an
artist in residence program, we would be interested in
documentation/information about your work. We are not so much interested in
work that involves "regular" production (eg CDROM designers) but rather the
work of technological artists hired within R & D or development teams, or
the work of artists that has resulted in patentable developments or
commercial innovations.
