Sure, "theaters of memory" were constructed
to help us to recollect something importante,
like dead Scopas' guests. Undoubttedly it was
used an archaic ability of our memory, its
eidetic character (children have eidetic memory).
But Sh. did not create specially the road of
the memory. His recollections raised along
the streets spontaneously and returned him
to the house of his childhood. We could
consider the case of Sh. as an exclusion
from "the art of memory" practice. We could
rather call him "the theater of memory".
