you're bumping up against a perhaps *artifical* distinction (one that we
have had strong cultural uses for since the middle ages) of space (either
linear or volumetric) and time. Are we moving from a linear concept of time
(i.e. time as it applies to *me* or my life narrative) to a volumetric
sense of time, time use as a cultural matrix (sorry, but I need two more
years of math before I can talk about this with any certainty) where we
find vectors within the matrix (does anyone out there in this discussion
understand *eigenvector* concepts? and can explin them to us bozos?)
