Mary-Anne Martin/Fine Art was established in 1982 as a gallery specializing in the art of Mexico and Latin America. In the past eleven years the gallery has achieved a reputation for handling works of the highest quality available, both in inventory sales and in the artists it promotes. Founded by former Sotheby's Senior Vice-President Mary-Anne Martin (who started the Latin American Department there) the gallery has become a must for serious collectors, as well as scholars, museum curators and artists. Stressing the importance of new collectors,the gallery encourages inquiries and visits from all who seek further knowledge of the field. Assisted by Director Matthew Rembe and Administrator Dina Mitrani, the gallery is located in a landmark townhouse on East 73rd Street, provides a warm and elegant atmosphere in which to pursue these ends. The gallery also provides estate and insurance appraisals, corporate consultation and auction advisory services.
