Well Miltos, I don't know...
It is true that in a sense she went out as she did everything in life, in style and well researched (the 'Final Exit,' 'Hemlock Society' recommended way--painless and effective), she did it right. It was by her choice, so I wouldn't say "poor Susan" for that, but rather "Poor Us" who have to live now without Susan.
Still, you have to recognize that this was a decision made while she was in pain. Although she did effectively put an end to her pain as well as her life, I know that she was not seeing things clearly when she made this decision. I, like so many others, wish I could have helped her find another way out of, or to bear, her pain (even if it's for selfish reasons--to keep her here with us).
