Technical Browser Instructions
You could connect with your browser to a
targeted web site and push the bottom "reload" several times for an hour
(with an interval of few seconds in between)
OR
Just keep your browser tuned to this site, where
the Java Applet will hit reload for you.
Important Browser Settings
For Netscape Navigator users on PC, Apple Macintosh
and Unix o.s.:
1. In the security prefs, turn off the warnings about entering an
encrypted or secure site.
To open the Security Info window: Click the padlock icon, or
open the Communicator menu, choose Tools, then Security Info., then select
Navigator :
- Uncheck Entering an encrypted site
- Uncheck Leaving an encrypted site
- Uncheck Viewing a page with an encrypted/unencrypted mix
- Uncheck Sending unencrypted information to a site
You don't need to change your Certificate settings.
- activate the No Proxies option
Warning: Do not change the options or
click the buttons for Advanced Security(SSL) Configuration unless you have
specialized knowledge.
2. From the Option menu select Preferences and set up:
- memory cache = 0
- disk cache = 0
- verify document = Every Time
From The Option menu select Network Preferences
- activate the No Proxies option
For Microsoft Internet Explorer users:
- from the View menu select Options - Advanced
