Virtual Sit-In Help
To participate in the sit-in, make sure javascript is enabled.

What is this?
  • This sit-in creates repeating hits throughout Donald Trump's campaign website. With enough people, the website becomes overwhelmed by the traffic and access to the website is denied.
  • Our goal is to slow or shut down the site, so don't worry if you see messages saying the server is down or busy.

Navigating the action page
  • Depending on your internet speed, the window can take up to 60 minutes to fully load. Once it has loaded completely, it will automatically refresh the content. You can check how many times the content has reloaded by checking the status box on the bottom right.
  • The connection speed above the status box tells you how fast the content reloads based on the assumption of your internet speed. To better suit your own internet connection speed, you can toggle around with how quickly the content reloads by pressing the change speed button.
  • The 'slow dialup' setting submits requests to each page every 6 seconds. The 'fast dialup' setting submits a requests every 3 seconds. The 'high speed' setting submits requests every second. The faster the operation, the better!
  • When everything has finished loading, you can continue working other things but make sure to leave the action window running in the background. For optimal results, leave it running for as long as possible.
  • The swarm link at the bottom allows you to run multiple actions at once. it creates a new action window to create more traffic. If your internet speed is fast enough and your computer can handle the extra load, we encourage you to swarm to increase traffic.
  • If your internet connection is still running and the content begins to time out, it means the sit-in is working. At this point we have created enough traffic that their servers can no longer take the load and has stopped responding.
  • To end the session, simply close the window and you will no longer be sitting-in. And we welcome you to rejoin at any time.
  • The download link at the bottom allows you to host the action on your own harddrive. Simply uncompress the zip file and open the action page to start sitting-in.
