The Red Chamber on Mulberry will have 4 zones plus a mezzanine; A will be "more like a café bar" , B & C are "more elegant private dining spaces" and D "a very cozy, low-seating bar facility. The mezzanine above the toilets is "a very exclusive private room."

Some quotes from magazine articles about their Kuala Lumpur bar/lounge:

The Straits Times, The Weekender, 3 Aug 2000: "Woah. Does this joint rock or does it rock? ... Dimly-lit by candles and gorgeous lanterns, the lounge boasts two plush, sprawl-friendly platforms."

Unidentified: "Bars & Clubs: Where to SHAKE Your Stuff, " "Rouge Hot! Oriental fun without the parents ..."

Text Tan Aun Beng, Palate: "cafe-cum-bar..Reeks Old Media ... more Photoshop than Frontpage..makes you want to shed your tie and crash onto the plush crescent-shaped sofas, ready to guzzle the many clarets to come... very quickly, you'd notice the presence of very attractive females reposed behind screens not unlike a courtesan's bedroom drapes. Who are these women? You can see them and yet you can't really see them. You're interested and very interested...It's about happy drinking and eating..in a pretty atmosphere even your mother would approve."
