I've been very busy. Anyway, I would love the issues of Grist On-Line. Just tell me what addresses i need to send you and I will. Here are some of my poems. I will send as many as i have time for. -Molly CHOICE SEGREGATION "Never see a black student talking to a white student." Why? Friends no longer because of the color of their skin- Not the color of their hearts. To prejudge. To fear- or maybe not. Pressure from friends? But why? Society? Or is it us? Teach us, please. Teach us how to know each other- Know ourselves Why we prejudge, why we separate Like oil and water, But we're not. Things must change. We must change. Not tomorrow, Not next year, NOW. (I hope you're not a patriot, because if you are, you won't like this next one.) AMERICA, THE MIRAGE Why do so many people say, "I'm proud to be an American"? Are they proud of bombing Japan? Are they proud of the slavery? The segregation? The hate? Are they proud of taming Earth's most diverse continent Into a smoggy, self-destructing wasteland? Are they proud of today, As a drug war rages, undefeated? As many go unaided by doctors, And many sleep on the street each night? "I'm proud to be an American" Yeah, right. sorry, i'm out of time. give me info on subscribing, please!
