General Dynamics Decision Systems, Scottsdale, Ariz, is being awarded a $99,450,212 firm-fixed-price, three-year multi-year contract for MK 45 MOD 9 target detecting devices and shroud fragmentation antenna assembly (TDD's/SFAA). This contract includes options, which if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $137,652,843. The first year (fiscal year 02) of this contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy (53 percent) and the governments of Japan (nine percent), Korea (37 percent), and Spain (one percent) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in Scottsdale, and is to be completed by October 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-02-C-5318).
