i spent all of last night trying to determine whether Bose acoustics
technology is Bengali, Indian, Third World, or merely a piece of Western
technology invented by Others ...

whether the software that i occasionally write as a West African migrant
laborer in Florida, is African, Black, Other, or thoroughly and
inexorably Western.

funny what keeps us awake at night.
