is created for computer and a live presentation. It is
structured in 5 key movements occurring over a 24 hour cycle.
Events in the story occur only during particular times of the day,
determined by the interplay between civil time and storytime.
Images, video, sounds and text are activated and altered by
viewer interaction and light or sound input. In the live
presentation scenes are projected out from the computer
while some scenes take place on stage
with performers, both envolve environmental interaction.
The work is based in an evolving text assemblage. This lyrical text
depicts an
interior world, a matrix of characters, objectives and episodes taking
place in a large auditorium with overlapping dimensions of time and location.
There are many characters residing in this auditorium, all with annotated
histories and potential relationships. There are three other participants in
this place: two elusive and polar entities the overarching Able Flint and
Adress, and the audience. The story centers around two characters Honey and Adams Rem
engaged in the events at hand but their methods and desires are fundamentally discordant.
Many events and conversations unfold as the participants of this world react
to the trouble that arises as Honey and Adams Rem argue across the faultline.
The project has been created using Director.
