General Notes

1) d.a. levy would create special publications for friend, sometimes
compiled from other of his publications. Often these were in
editions of one. This bibliography, for the most part, has not
addressed these publications since their availability is limited
    to private collectors or universities.

2) The order of the 1963 publications are based upon levy's own listing.
However, the order of publications in later years is only an
    educated guess.

3) There were three basic press names for levy's publications: Renegade
Press, 7 Flowers Press & Ayizan Press, however, sometimes he did not
list a press name. For others, he created a press name for
individual publications. In the case of Grass Coin Publishing Company,
it is assumed that this was levy's imprint since the books produced
were the second printing of the books which were confiscated by the
Cleveland Police from Jim Lowell's Asphodel Book Shop & never
returned. The stencils which were used for these books appear to
be the exact mimeo stencils which were used for the original
    publications.

4) Since many of the page counts were ascertained from internet sources,
these numbers are open for interpretation due to variances in the
ways which the pages were counted (e.g., pages vs leaves, two-sided
    printing, intentionally blank pages, etc).
Also, some copies may have additional/special pages which other
copies of the same publication may not have.

5) Future enhancements will include a listing of publications where
    levy was a contributor.
